The Old Chapel Wootton Rivers is a beautifully renovated, wonderfully positioned converted chapel with large private garden in one of the Wiltshire’s prettiest villages. Wootton Rivers is within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, with beautiful walks along the Kennet & Avon Canal, the Ridgeway and Savernake Forest. The village has a 16th century thatched pub, very close to the Chapel. We are also on the National Cycle Network route 4 and near to great restaurants such as Stein's and Dan's in Marlborough.
The space
Perfect for couples looking for a quiet, romantic retreat or young families with one or two small children, the master bedroom is open to the stairs (stair gates top and bottom if required) with a second bedroom off the main bedroom.
The kitchen is fully equipped including dish washer and washing machine. There is also a heated airer, iron and ironing board available. The shower room has underfloor heating.
The French doors lead to a large, private fenced garden over looking fields that often have cows in during the spring and summer. If you're lucky you might also spot a barn owl circulating the field at dusk. There is a seating area just outside the French doors so you can enjoy the views. Perfect for those bringing a dog as the garden is securely fenced.
